I have been very impressed with everything about this school. My daughter has really thrived there and we were made welcome from day one.We will be moving and she will attend a different Botetourt County school, but we will always treasure the time spent at Breckinridge.
The lowest grade we have ever received is an astonishing 98! The Appalachian Teen Challenge is a faith-based ministry and receives no state or federal funding.
Sex trafficking is not an issue isolated to a certain region of the world.
The reality is that it is a growing problem throughout our community and across the country and the fastest growing business of organized crime.
My children learned relatively little and rarely felt happy or welcomed at Breckenridge.
Thankfully, they've moved on to another school now. One graduated from high school in 1999; one finished Breckinridge in 2003 and one is currently a second grade student there. The teachers truly care about the quality of education and the welfare of each child, and it shows. I had taken advantage of many opportunities to volunteer in various aspects over the years, and have always felt appreciated.
